The sentence you used would only be correct if the sentence stress falls on "There" which would change the meaning to: "So... how long till we reach that-place-you-have-spoken-of-before-but-which-I-cannot-name". You know. In the style of "he who must not be named" = Voldemort 8D "How long till we get... there ?" *insert horror movie soundtrack here*

• the loop of the news = While this is a valid construction, English really prefers the apostrophe-s construction for the possessive. Saying "the handbag of my uncle" sounds so long and weird in a sentence compared to "my uncle's handbag". So grammatically I'd write: "the news' loop (or the news's loop, both are correct)". BUT, even with this construction it sounds strange, because you wouldn't really state what you're trying to say this way. Maybe say: "Nor the repetitive news message on TV" or "Nor the broadcast that played in a loop on TV".
• She only remember = I think you just overlooked the third person here: remembers or remembered
• The kind of building you don't really want to get in = into in this context. I'm gonna think about maybe finding a tip or rule of thumb for this one, cause I can't think of any off the top of head . I'll let ya know o/
